There is more than one way to be a Jew.
Since our beginning in 1938, Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills has been a sacred and diverse community in which people of all backgrounds come to mark life's passages and discover a Jewish way of making sense of this world. As a modern Reform Jewish congregation and synagogue in Los Angeles, we take our inspiration from learning and wrestling with Torah in order to discover what is relevant and enriching to our lives.
There are many different doors that open to a more meaningful Jewish life including Jewish learning, Jewish culture, Jewish tradition, compelling worship, social justice, community, and spirituality. Our goal is to be a mezuzah at those doorways, greeting and welcoming you. Whether you are a Jew by birth, a Jew by choice, or a member of an interfaith family; we encourage you to explore your own Jewish path within the embrace of our nurturing, intergenerational community.
