I am in 8th grade at Millikan Science Academy.  I like to play tennis and lacrosse.  I also like music and to play the drums, but I have the most fun spending time with my friends.  My best friend’s name is Sebastiano and he now lives in Bulgaria.

For my Bar Mitzvah project I am collecting money and personal letters for an organization called The Survivor Mitzvah Project.  This organization gives money to people in remote areas of Eastern Europe who are the last survivors of the Holocaust and have lost everything and everyone.  All of them are alone now and do not have such basic necessities as food, medicine, suitable shelter and some human kindness.  I am also asking friends and family to write letters about anything they want and send them to this organization so they can be forwarded to the survivors to let them know that others care about them.

I would like to thank my mentor Pete Siegel, my Hebrew tutor Shelly Kamara, Cantor Weiss and Rabbi Aaron for helping me prepare for my Bar Mitzvah.

"Three grand essentials to happiness in this life are something to do, something to love, and something to hope for."
