b2ap3_thumbnail_noah-ziperovich2.jpgMy name is Noah Ziperovich. I am in 7th grade at Paul Revere Charter Middle School. I like to play violin, read, paint, and travel. I am also a 2nd degree brown belt in karate. My parents are Hector and Gloria Ziperovich. I have an older brother named Jason, and he had his Bar Mitzvah 3 years ago. My birthday is on Earth Day, which is also the date of my Bar Mitzvah. I feel lucky.

My project is to raise money for The MAJOR Fund, also known as “The Muslim and Jewish Organized Relief Fund”. This is a group of Muslims and Jews who raise money to provide portable solar energy for refugees fleeing Syria. They have also done other projects like supporting earthquake survivors and making sure the drinking water for hundreds of people is safe and clean.

I would like to thank my mom, my dad, my brother, Rabbi Sarah Bassin, Josh Goldberg, Cantor Lizzie Weiss, and all the other Temple Emanuel teachers and staff for helping me learn my material and prepare for this amazing event.
