Social Venture Partners Los Angeles has launched the Encore Fellows Program, in partnership with Encore.org. They are tapping the talent of people who are transitioning out of the corporate world who aren’t yet ready to retire. Instead, they would like to put their skillsets to use in an environment that offers a renewed sense of purpose and contributes to the greater good. Through the program, Social Venture Partners matches these highly skilled, seasoned professionals (a minimum of 20 years’ experience in their field) with meaningful, high-impact assignments to help build capacity at nonprofit organizations. Assignments that the Fellows take-on are typically part-time for 12 months, and the Fellows receive a stipend. Encore Fellows help organizations grow strategically, and ultimately have a broader impact on their communities. You can learn more about the program by clicking here.
If you are interested in becoming an Encore Fellow or know a nonprofit that could benefit from this program, please reach out to Program Manager Judy Bamberger, Encore Fellows, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 818. 807.3516.
