Community-Based Approach to Authentic Living Judaism
At Temple Emanuel Religious School, we believe that participating in Judaism is preferable to simply learning about Judaism. Our approach to Jewish education centers on an experiential and project-based environment where all students are actively engaged in “Living Judaism.”
The students at Temple Emanuel are building a confident Jewish community around them, developing their Jewish identity and learning the language necessary to explain what being Jewish means to them. Jewish life is joyfully experienced through singing, praying, and connecting. Hebrew is introduced and seamlessly infused throughout the day, and students are encouraged to experiment and discover their own Jewish identities.
