Temple Emanuel’s Mitzvah Corps joins with the Hollywood Food Coalition to bring nourishment and dignity to our community.

Give Comfort. Give hope.

This season, join us in uplifting our community through our tikkun olam initiative, Mitzvah Corps.
We’re partnering with the Hollywood Food Coalition to collect non-perishable food items and essential hygiene supplies for individuals and families in need.

Your donations will support the creation of hygiene kits and help provide nourishing meals for the Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner at Television City on Wednesday, November 26.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Donation Drop-Offs:
Collection bins are located in the temple foyer, and items may be dropped off during open hours or when you come for Shabbat services. 

Food Items Needed:
Protein or granola bars, basmati rice, nut butter, jelly or jam, individual beverages (water, soda, juice), cooking oil, canned tomatoes or sauce, lentils and beans (dry or canned), boxed or canned broth, and individual salty or sweet snacks.

Hygiene Items Needed:
Thermal or fleece blankets, travel-size lotion, mini first aid kits, hats, sleeping bags, socks, and hand warmers.
