Join Rabbi Aaron on Tuesday, November 7 @ 7 p.m. in the Belle Chapel to discuss from a personal standpoint how the war in Israel is effecting us, and our emotions surrounding the events taking place. This gathering is intended as a debrief, to take a pause, and to reflect on the past few weeks.

Join us for ‘How Did We Get Here: The Context of the Israel-Palestinian Conflict’ in the Belle Chapel on Tuesday, November 14 @ 7 p.m., with Rabbi Jonathan Aaron and special guest Dror Yaron.

There is so much information and disinformation online about the war in Israel that makes it difficult to understand the context and history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We want to provide an evening where we can offer an historical perspective to the events of the last three weeks, so that you may acquire facts and information that will be helpful when talking to others about the situation in Israel. Please join us for this much needed session – where you will have an opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insight.

Art can be a useful and creative tool for processing grief and fear, which are emotions that many of us are feeling during this uncertain and dark time. Join Rabbi Liora Alban for Mixed Media Midrash For Israel at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 16 in our foyer, for brief text study and art creation, using a range of creative materials. This will be a moment to reflect on the past few weeks and to use art as a creative way of processing.
