Join OUR Intergenerational Group

Now in our ninth year, the Sisterhood of Emanuel is an intergenerational women’s group. Rooted in the principles of Reform Judaism, our mission is to build a strong, compassionate, and socially conscious community focused on making a positive imprint on one another and the world through friendship and action. Celebrate the women in our community with events such as Sisters in the Sukkah, Sisterhood Challah Bakes, Sisterhood Shabbat, and more. To get involved, please email us at [email protected].

Sisterhood Challah Bake
thursDAY, Nov 5 | 7 p.m.

Gather with us for a wonderful evening of wine, appetizers, and community as we learn the art of baking challah together!

Michelle Aaron will guide us through the process of preparing challah dough, while Marianne Aaron, Rabbi Jonathan Aaron’s mother, will share her expertise in traditional challah braiding techniques.

An artist, the daughter of a cantor, and an experienced cook and baker, Marianne brings a rich history of creativity, tradition, and storytelling. She’ll share personal stories and insights from her life while demonstrating different ways to braid challah.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with Marianne, learn something new, and enjoy a meaningful evening with our Sisterhood community.

Whether you’re a seasoned baker or making challah for the first time, all are welcome!
