Yom Chesed Day of kindness
SunDAY, March 1 | 11 a.M.
Join Temple Emanuel for Yom Chesed, a meaningful morning dedicated to kindness, service, and community.
We will gather at the temple at 11 a.m. for hands-on mitzvah projects, including:
Write letters for Lone Soldiers Israel Forever Foundation
Assemble Hygiene kits for the Los Angeles Mission
Make lunches and add some love by decorating the bags for the Hollywood Food Coalition
Assemble Welcome Home Cleaning Caddies for the Alexandria House
Later, for those who opt in, we will go to OBKLA at 12:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 1 p.m.
We encourage you to volunteer off-site with our partners at Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles, helping prepare and serve meals with love and dignity. Ages 5+ are welcome, and no prior experience is needed—just a willing heart.
