What if, in addition to dreidels, latkes, songs and presents, Hanukkah was a time to share a rich, evocative set of values, one for each night? What if, as you lit the candles, you could create conversations that resonated for a lifetime? These questions drove authors and cousins Paul Small and Josh Freeman to create a beautiful book exploring eight essential human values: Faith, Freedom, Courage, Love, Charity, Integrity, Knowledge and Peace. Join Rabbi Zoe Klein Miles, Paul Small and Josh Freeman to talk about a new vision of the Festival of Light, and the fascinating story of how they transformed the writings of their great-uncle, American Playwright Dore Schary, into this book filled with photography, musical playlists, historical context, recipes and reflections. We will also have time to share our own favorite creative Hanukkah experiences.
