I am in the 7th grade at Harvard Westlake. I like playing tennis, singing, and hanging out with my friends. My parents are Nazila Yadegar and Matt Yadegar. I have two older brothers named Jordan and Ashton.
For my mitzvah project, I will be working with Sharsheret, a non-profit organization that supports women with breast and ovarian cancer, along with their families. I will be raising awareness, by passing out pink challahs that I bake to friends and family at Shabbat. I will also distribute pamphlets which explain different ways Sharsheret can help, and describe signs and symptoms to help detect breast and ovarian cancer in its early stages.
I would like to thank Rabbi Aaron, Rabbi Bassin, Cantor Weiss and Shelly Kamara for helping me throughout my Bat Mitzvah process.
