I am a 7th grader at Brentwood School, where I enjoy studying math and history. In my free time, I play the electric guitar. I am a member of the Rhythm Section rock band at Brentwood, where we play many different genres of music, but most prominently classic rock. I am also a member of School of Rock’s various bands.

Recently my father and I starred in a Fender commercial, which was an amazing experience. For the past five summers, I have attended Camp Takajo in Maine, where I also play sports and music. I look forward to returning this summer. I am currently playing on Brentwood School’s soccer and lacrosse teams as well as the Hillcrest tennis team. My parents are Holly and Albert, and I have an older sister, Alex, who is in 11th grade. As a family, we enjoy travel, skiing, and watching movies.

For my mitzvah project, I am raising funds to furnish an apartment at Upward Bound House. Upward Bound House helps families who are in transition and falling between the cracks. Everybody needs something to drive them forward and this is what UBH provides. Over the years, I have assisted in raising money for UBH, stocking its pantries, and adding much-needed supplies. By contributing to this LINK, you are able to help a family with housing for up to six months.

I would like to thank Rabbi Bassin, Rabbi Aaron, Cantor Weiss, Shelly Kamara, and my parents for helping me prepare for my bar mitzvah.
