I am a 9th grader at North Hollywood High School. When I am older, I want to be a litigator because I love arguing and helping others, so why not combine the two to make a career.
My parents are Viti and Erez Golomb, and I have two sisters, Dana and Edin Golomb. For my mitzvah project, I am working at a homeless food shelter. I help prepare and distribute food, along with other volunteers. Something I try to do is converse with the people who I am helping, because that’s all they are: people. I’m sure it could feel terrible, even dehumanizing, to have to ask for food and shelter, so if I can do my part to help other people feel like people, then I will.

I would like to thank Rabbi Lutz, Cantor Weiss, and Shelly Kamara.
