My name is Dylan Unger, and I am currently in the 7th grade at Brentwood School. I love playing basketball, volleyball, soccer, and hanging out with my friends. I enjoy traveling with my family and exploring new and exciting places.  My parents are Susan and Daniel Unger; I have a younger brother, Henry, who is 9 years old and a dog, Teddy, who is a 5-year-old Labradoodle.

I feel so lucky to be sharing this special day with my cousin and best friend, Nate Dudley. This is something that we have talked about for years and I’m so excited to celebrate this huge milestone with him!

For our Mitzvah Project, Nate and I will be holding a Holiday Toy Drive to benefit the Good+ Foundation. The Good+ Foundation partners with a national network of leading programs to break the cycle of family poverty though the power of donated goods and services. Over the past 17 years, Good+ has donated almost $42 million in children’s items to over a national network of over 125 antipoverty programs.

I would like to thank Rabbi Aaron, Cantor Weiss, Allison Bluestein and my family for helping me prepare for my Bat Mitzvah.
