My name is Mia Fienberg. I am a 7th grader at Beverly Vista School. I like playing volleyball and doing art. My parents are Lori and Dan Fienberg. I have an older brother named Ian Fienberg. He is 16 years old. He had his Bar Mitzvah at Temple Emanuel three years ago and my mom also had her Bat Mitzvah at Temple Emanuel.

For my mitzvah project, I will be working with P.S. Arts Organization. P.S. Arts is a local organization that provides education in the arts to under-served public schools and communities. Their mission is to improve children’s lives through art.

I will be helping out at the P.S. Arts Family Art Nights. Family Art Nights are art making workshops that P.S. Arts hosts at the school sites. I will be assisting the elementary school students with group art projects.

I am passionate about art so I am very excited to be able to volunteer my time at the P.S. Arts workshop events!I would like to thank Rabbi Aaron, Rabbi Bassin, Cantor Weiss, Shelly Kamara, and Karen Porper for helping me prepare for my upcoming Bat Mitzvah.
