I am so excited to become a Bat Mitzvah! I am beginning 8th grade at New West Charter. I love to play soccer, dance, draw and paint, watch Netflix, listen to music and hang out with my friends. My parents are David and Kerri Schwartz and I have a 14 year old brother Joey who celebrated his Bar Mitzvah at Temple Emanuel.

For my mitzvah project, I am supporting an organization called Peace Passers. So far, I raised over $3500 and collected used soccer gear, specifically cleats, balls, cones, etc. All of the gear is going to a small town in Costa Rica where they are running a soccer camp for the local children. I chose this organization because I love playing soccer and I want other kids to have the privilege of playing, too.
