Noah Rahmani Bar Mitzvah – October 29, 2022

Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills

My name is Noah Rahmani and I’m in the 7th grade at Beverly Vista school. My parents are Yasmin and Robin, and I have 2 younger brothers, Andrew, 9, and Jordan, 4 (aka the boss of our household!). My favorite subject in school is Spanish. I enjoy playing sports, especially basketball and football. I also love playing video games, shopping for clothes, going to restaurants with family and friends, and going to the movies and sporting games. I enjoy hanging out with my friends the most. My favorite hobby is to cook. I am always looking for exotic new recipes to try.

For my mitzvah project, I plan to volunteer my time with the homeless. I will begin by distributing wellness bags to the homeless and will continue by visiting shelters. This is important to me because I love to help people who are less fortunate than me.

I would like to thank my parents, brothers, Rabbi Aaron, Cantor Weiss, and of course my tutor, Shelly Kamara. This temple has been a wonderful inspiration to me ever since I was a toddler and attended preschool here. I also want to give my gratitude to Judy Kandel who guided me with my bar mitzvah speech. This community has been very supportive and helpful in my journey to becoming a bar mitzvah.
