My name is Rebecca Horowtiz and I am a 7th grader at the New Roads School. I enjoy swimming, traveling, and have a passion for speech and debate. In my free time I love spending quality time with my dog Julieta and my mom, Marlene. One of my favorite activities is to have sleepovers with my best friends.

For my mitzvah project I chose gun violence prevention. I chose this topic so people who no longer have a voice are heard. I want to advocate for this important issue to help more people understand the problem the world is sadly facing.
