Your contribution can be made to honor someone in your family or in the congregation. Whether it is to celebrate an important time in their life or commemorate the passing a loved one, we welcome your generous donation.
It is customary to give tzedakah in cherished memory of your beloved on their Yahrzeit. To commemorate the anniversary of their passing it is also tradition to visit the cemetery on or close to this date. Many remember their loved one with a plaque that is lit on the memorial of their passing and during Yizkor.
Memorial plaques may be purchased and installed on the Memorial Walls in the Corwin Family Sanctuary in memory of your loved ones. Each plaque is lit on the Friday night of the week of the Yahrzeit, and the four times of year that we read Yizkor: $2,000.00
Preserve the memory of Holocaust victims and survivors by purchasing a plaque for Temple Emanuel’s Holocaust Remembrance Wall on the exterior of the Belle Chapel: $5,000.00
Honor, memorialize, or celebrate friends and family with a plaque placed on the arm of one of our beautiful Corwin Family Sanctuary chairs: $1,000.00

Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills and Temple Isaiah have happily come together to support a special village, ChaiVillageLA, which helps our members to age in place and live well and joyfully within a neighborhood full of friends, support and Jewish values. Giving to Temple Emanuel’s ChaiVillageLA fund helps us provide space, services and support to make ChaiVillage the robust program that it is.
Support our once-a-month senior gathering by helping us to fund guest speakers and the delicious kosher-style lunch which follows our educational and social programming.
Where the Need is the Greatest
By giving to the General Fund, your contribution will be directed to where the need is greatest. Through the generosity of people like you, Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills is able to provide innovative prayer that warms souls, music that opens hearts, and lifelong learning that challenges minds, and inspires social justice.

Temple Emanuel has built a ground-breaking partnership with the West Coast Religious Action Center to transform our teens into thoughtful civic leaders. Meeting monthly over the course of a year, students collectively choose an issue of focus for the year. They develop skills in advocacy, philanthropy and volunteerism as they learn from non-profit leaders, clergy and politicians on how they can use their power to create change. In addition to allocating grant money through the MATCH teen philanthropy program, these teens culminate their year with a trip to Washington D.C. with clergy to advocate for policy change with their senators and representatives through the Religious Action Center’s L’Taken seminar.
Our little students go through supplies fast! Your donations help fund art, science,
technology, and classroom supplies. Your donation can also be designated to help provide need-based scholarships to make our award-winning preschool more accessible to working and single-parent families.
Your donations are used to support Jewish education for our children, including instructional, curricular, programmatic, and administrative needs for our Religious School. Your donation can also be designated to help provide need-based scholarships.
To Thank Our Wonderful Clergy
This fund enables our Rabbis and Cantor to make donations to congregants in need, participate in programs that they deem worthy, and contribute to other causes they wish to support. The fund is never used for the Clergy’s personal benefit.
