A Legacy

Leave a Lasting Legacy

Typically, donations answer the question: “How can I help today?” Legacy gifts, on the other hand, ask: “How can I help tomorrow?” and “How would I like to be remembered?”

By including a legacy gift in your estate plan, you ensure that your values and commitment to our synagogue’s mission live on, benefiting future generations. Legacy giving allows you to make a lasting impact—a meaningful way to be remembered while continuing your support for the causes you care about most.

At Temple Emanuel, we understand the importance of advanced planning. To help our community navigate this process, we offer ethical will workshops and have partnered with trusted local memorial parks. Ethical wills—an important Jewish tradition—offer a powerful way to pass on your values, stories, and blessings to the next generation.

Make a Plan Now for Impact Later

If you would like to extend your support of Temple Emanuel and create a lasting impact, there are several gift arrangements to consider. Making a meaningful gift is simpler than you might think—such as including a bequest in your will or trust with straightforward language.

Legacy Society Declaration of Intent

For Sue and Barry Brucker, making a legacy gift was especially meaningful due to the concept of l’dor v’dor, which means “from generation to generation.” Read more about their legacy here.
